Embodying Your Design
EYD is the beginner course that Teresa and James wanted. You can think of it as an advanced beginner’s course. It is designed to be a solid first step on your Human Design journey, and yet it’s also a course that people with years of experience in the experiment could use to reconnect with the essential mechanics they’re here to rely on, and to relate with those mechanics not just intellectually, but somatically. This is a course that empowers your ability to take on the experiment right from the start — a course that clarifies the important details about your internal GPS, beyond Strategy and Authority. Beyond providing time tested information to help you discover and trust your design, we’re also going to help you live it with somatic guidance that will bring the keynotes home in your body.

Course Format
Human Design Classes taught by James Alexander
There are 9 Human Design classes total, taught twice a week, and each class is a 90-120 minute deep dive on a particular topic that is essential to living your design.
Topics include:
- Primary Health System (PHS): Learn about each PHS and how to start experimenting with your own. We’ll explore both the PHS and provide markers for its transference (when you’re not aligned). We’ll also discuss ways to help regulate your nervous system based on your PHS.
- Cognition: Think of cognition as your strongest sense — the one you unconsciously rely on to make decisions. We’ll explore each cognition in depth and you’ll have more awarweness around how your cognition operates. We’ll also discuss ways to help regulate your nervous system based on your cognition.
- Strategy and Aura Types: We’ll discuss both the healthy expression and core wounds of each Aura Type, and address any questions about the Strategy for each.
- Inner Authorities: We’ll go through each inner authority and look at the mechanism of how it operates as well as discuss the experience of it and where to track it in the body.
- Traps and Common Misunderstadings: James will share his 11 years of experience in the experiment and years of client work to help you see through common misunderstandings that can disempower you.
Somatic Support Sessions led by Teresa Brenneman
There are five sessions total, one session per week. Each session is 60 minutes. The purpose of these sessions is to help you connect with your body and deepen your relationship with your inner authority. Along the way, you’ll gain a foundational understanding of trauma, how nervous system dysregulation shows up, and simple, supportive tools you can use on your own to navigate it.

- Understanding Trauma, the Nervous System and Activation
- Orienting to Safety and Tracking Sensation
- Working with Our Triggers
- Building Capacity and Understanding Coping Mechanisms
- Exploring Boundaries and Continuing Embodiment as We Decondition
